Slumber party

Isabelle will be having her first slumber party tomorrow night, since we are looking after my cousin Nora while her parents go on a much deserved theatre-trip in Oslo. Ella is so excited, and the only reason why I could talk her into going to bed tonight was by informing her that we'll see Nora a lot sooner if we try to get some sleep first. We spent the day with Nora a couple of weeks ago as well, and the girls had so much fun together...

...first a bit of drawing. We have changed the rooms around so that James and I now have our desks in the bed-room, so that Isabelle could have the study as her own little palace. She is pretty happy with the result, and it is lovely to have somewhere to put all her toys! After showing of their artistic talents...

...we headed outside for a bit of action...

...the girls loved it, and it seems James had some fun too...

...after playing in the outdoors we needed to fuel up, and hot chocolate truly hit the spot with these girls...

Since Bett was out of town at the time, after lunch we actually went downstairs to his refuge where he's got a massive projector set up. Equiped with popcorn and cordial we were definitely ready for the movies - and after popular vote it was decided that Ice Age 2 would get the honours that night...

  1. Hi family! The blog is amazing, everytime i have a look at it i have a little tear, which is super embarrassing because i'm in an internet cafe! But lucky for me Darwin is FULL of total crazies, so i'm making friends easily. I miss you guys, Isabelle especially. She really is growing up so fast, too fast for my liking actually. xoxo love you
